Our History
Why we started and where we are going
Steph's Rentals was founded in 2022 on a simple frustration: the airport rental counter experience is broken. Long lines, bait-and-switch vehicles, hidden fees, and a call center if anything goes wrong. We built something different.
We started with a small fleet of fuel-efficient and electric vehicles and a commitment to one rule: the car you book is the car you get. That rule hasn't changed. Our fleet has grown to 35+ vehicles across EVs, sedans, SUVs, vans, and RVs — and we're growing toward 50.
Our model is personal by design. We work one-to-one with every customer, deliver to PDX airport or your door, and make ourselves reachable if anything comes up. No call center. No runaround. Just a real person who wants your trip to go well.
We also work with co-owners — vehicle owners who share their cars with us to rent within our marketing and operations. If you own a quality vehicle and want passive income without managing a rental yourself, we'd love to talk.
